Introducing.....the Walk-A-Long

I'm super excited to announce this new addition to our product line! Are you ready???

What is it you ask??? Only the coolest most versatile product ever!! There are so many options to use this item which takes up so little room you can tote it anywhere.

I think every mom has told their walking toddler to hold onto the stroller while out and about. How many have ran over that same toddlers heels because of how close they stand to them?? So you either have to walk at a snails pace to avoid it or hope you don't injur them for life. Now the problem is solved!
Attach the Walk-A-Long to the frame of the stroller and your little one can hold onto the ring. It allows them to walk at a safer distance from the stroller wheels while encouraging them to stay with in a comfortable distance to you. How about shopping carts? Purses? Bags? Even the handle of an infant carseat? All places you can attach the Walk-A-Long to and give your walker something to hold onto while walking.

It doesn't end there though! Got a little one thats not quite ready to walk? How about a toy to entertain them that won't hit the ground if they drop it!
Attach the Walk-A-Long to the stroller, their carseat, or even the handle of a shopping cart. These are made of 100% quality cotton fabric with coordinating grosgrain ribbon. I'll even let you pick out the fabric print and color that you would like. How's that for customization?? The ring is approximately 9" in diameter and about 1" thick. Perfect for hand sizes from baby to toddler. It's stuffed with cotton batting so it's soft and comfortable to hold onto. The ribbon is looped to allow for easy on/off. Walk-A-Longs are machine washable and line or tumble dry.

So who wants one???

Cameron Family Benefit Auction

We here at Daffe Designs will be hosting an online auction to benefit a local family whose little boy is currently fighting for his life.

Silas is an 18 month old baby boy who is fighting for his life at the Children’s Hospital for the King’s Daughters in Norfolk, VA. He was admitted on February 15, 2011 and is in critical condition. The doctors believe he has a condition known as Hemophagocytic Lymphohistipcytosis (HLH), which is a rare life-threatening disease. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments and will ultimately result in needing a bone marrow transplant. The Cameron family has already sustained a very difficult tragedy as they lost their 15 month old son, Carter, to this same condition, 3 years ago. So you can see why we are rallying with them to help ease this burden as much as possible.

There are several reasons why we are asking for your help. First is for finances to help cover costs that their insurance does not cover. Secondly, the father, who is the only one who works outside the home is paid hourly and so time at the hospital means time not getting paid. We would like for him to be free to spend time at the hospital without concern of the financial implications.

To help support the family and ease their burden we are looking for sponsors to donate an item for our up coming auction. This can be a product or a gift card in any denomination that you choose. If you do not have something to offer for the auction but would like to donate please let us know! 100% of all money raised from the auction will be donated to the Cameron family. If you would like to participate please let me know no later than March 25th what you would like to donate and it's retail value. We would like to have everything organized and ready to start the auction No later than April 1st. We greatly appreciate your support and hope you will participate! If you have any questions please let me know! My email is daffedesigns@gmail.com
