Shoes for Boys

I posted yesterday the little purple shoe that you could put either a bow or a flower on it. Well what ever you wanted really. Tonight I did a boy version and tried a new idea out for the accessory. I have to say I absolutely love doing the accessories like this.

I got the idea from a friend who has been doing hair clips using applique designs. The size was just right for the shoes as well and it looks so cute! There are so many possibilities with this. Sports themes, holiday themes, vehicles, and animals just to name a few for boys. I even have cute girly ones for the girls. Flowers, crowns, wands, etc.
In this first picture I have the car attached and the football accessory is just tot he side. To change out the accessory you simply un-snap the current one and snap in the new one. And voila you have a new style of shoe with out having to have multiple pairs. The accessories would be a lot easier to store than multple shoe pairs thats for sure.

One for Many

How many pairs of shoes does your little one have? My youngest isn't even a year old yet and I think she has 8-10 pairs. Why? Well because we need to coordinate outfits of course! Recently I started making little infant shoes that have turned out oh so cute. Obviously we are always looking for ways to make it new, exciting, and well useful. Today I think we came up something that fits all three.

To start off we have a shoe with a pretty little bow on it. Something dressy or just having a little extra to it. Such a cute little shoe isn't it? I also added the ankle strap which is secured on one side and unsnaps on the other. A little easier to do when your battling those wiggly tootsies. I know my kids would never sit still long enough to tie something.
Now what about when you want to change it up a bit. You would just have to have a different pair right? Well what if you could just change up the pair you already have with a little accessory?

With this shoe you can!

The bow is attached by a snap so when you want to change it up just unsnap the bow. Now the possibilities are endless! You can dress it up anyway you like with available accessories

In this case I added a pretty felt flower and voila.....a new shoe!

I'm currently working on a boy version as well as other possibilities. I'm thinking that most of the shoes will be black, white, or brown neutral colors. And then they can be changed with a number of accessories, I have a lot of ideas brewing so look for new options coming soon!

We have been reviewed!

Our first ever product review by another blogger. It does my heart good reading how pleased she was with the wetbag.

You can view what Mommie Ventures had to say about it HERE.

The Stroller - Shopping Cart Bag

I've seen these around before and thought they seemed like a nifty thing to have. With 3 kids in tow it's inevitable that my purse ends up at the bottom of the shopping cart covered with what ever items we originally came to get. They were plain black or brown though and I prefer something a little more personalized. So I decided to throw one together and see what we come up with.

First here is the bag while empty. You'll see there are 2 pockets on the front, a flap on the side, and then 2 straps for hanging the bag from where you want it. It's made from 100% cotton print with quilters binding for the edges in a coordinating color.

The two front pockets are large enough to hold your keys, a wallet, pens, or even a sippy cup for your child.

The inside pocket opens with a snap on the side. It is large enough to hold a full size spiral bound notebook. You can use it to hold your child's books, a coupon book, or ledger. What ever your heart desires.

The straps are made from the same cotton as the main bag and use a snap to open and close. It can be hung from a stroller handle, shopping cart handle, or even on the side of the cart if you choose.
These sell for $15 each and can be ordered at daffedesigns@gmail.com
